The LS Double Helix 0.5 Marina is a compact wind turbine designed for both maritime and residential applications. Primarily intended for houseboats, marinas, and harbor facilities, this versatile turbine can also be mounted on rooftops of houses or garages. Leveraging the silent Savonius rotor technology, the Double Helix 0.5 Marina generates electricity at wind speeds as low as 3 m/s (10 km/h), making it ideal for areas with less consistent wind.

This off-grid friendly turbine charges 48V batteries, perfectly complementing solar power systems or functioning independently in remote locations.

Its robust design with a third roller bearing ensures high durability, while the slow blade rotation minimizes risk to birds and bats. The integrated dump load protects the turbine from excess energy in high winds, making it a safe and reliable source of clean energy.

Why Us?

Double Duty

This versatile turbine works on both water (houseboats, marinas) and land (flat rooftops), expanding your wind power options.

Low Wind Power Starts Here

Capture clean electricity even in areas with light and inconsistent winds, with a start-up wind speed as low as 3 m/s (10 km/h).

Off-Grid Powerhouse

Ideal for remote locations, the Double Helix charges 48V batteries, functioning independently or complementing existing solar systems.

Peace and Safety

Enjoy quiet operation that won’t disturb you or wildlife. The slow-rotating blades minimize risk to birds and bats.
